5:30 AM – 6:45 AM – Packet Pickup

6:50 AM – Costume Contest

6:55 AM – Kids Dash

Our little Yeti heroes take center stage! Meet at the start line, and we’ll walk participants to the Kids Dash area.

7:00 AM – National Anthem & Race Start

Time to hit the course and decide your destiny—Hero or Villain!

Post-Race Festivities:

 Live results and awards ceremony

 DJ playing all the hits

 Bigfoot Trophy & age group awards presentation

 Snacks and refreshments at the Race Rally Tent

 Finish line photos, music, and celebration

 

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Then Run (5K Distance Only)

Be part of the action and run the 5K!

Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.

Volunteer Then Run Schedule:

Arrive 1.5 hours early to help with packet pickup

Run the 5K

Help hand out awards post-race

Full Race Volunteer (Non-Running Role)

Perfect for those who want to help but not run this time.

Volunteers will not participate in the race and receive:

All volunteers check in at the Registration Tent 1.5 hours before start time.

 

  Volunteer Roles & Ratings

Water Station

Keep cups filled and cheer on runners! Bring a radio, pom poms, or noise makers.

  Rating: Chill position with great interaction. Bring a chair if desired.Course Monitors

Located at key safety points (e.g., crosswalks). Direct runners and cheer them on!

  Rating: Fun and exciting — right in the action.Finish Line Helper

Assist with medals, refreshments, and cheering finishers.

  Rating: Easy and fun — at the heart of the celebration.Turtle / Sweeper

Support the final participant and alert volunteers when the last runner passes.

Distribute bibs, shirts, and help celebrate finishers.

Assist wherever needed — medals, snacks, crowd support, etc.

Guide the first runners on the correct course using a bike or scooter.

Course & Experience

All races are held on scenic local park and greenbelt trails—mostly paved with some crushed granite and dirt sections.

Aid stations will be available throughout the course to keep you hydrated and supported.

  Bigfoot races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold!

Packet pickup is open for 1.5 hours before start time. If an additional pickup date is added, participants will be notified by email at least one week before the event.

Important Notes

  Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day. After that, limited availability. Weather: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start. Any additional pickups announced by email 1 week prior to the race.Course Surface: Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks, greenbelts, and roads.
