The Experience

The Alien Run lands at Long Beach's Alamitos Beach, inviting runners to embark on a cosmic adventure. This event, with its extraterrestrial theme, promises a unique celebration of the universe.

The course is a scenic out-and-back along the coast. The half marathon combines two laps of a 5-mile route with one lap of a 5K route, offering a mostly flat profile ideal for setting personal bests. The course closes after 3 hours and 20 minutes, with an option for an early start for half marathoners and 10-milers.

Participants can expect a lively atmosphere as they race across galaxies, or at least along the Southern California shoreline. The event aims to create "out-of-this-world fun" and "extraterrestrial memories" for all who participate, whether they are running, walking, or simply enjoying the celestial theme.
