The Experience

The Good Vibes Run series transforms Alamitos Beach into a vibrant celebration of movement and music. Runners can choose from 5K, 10K, 10-mile, and half marathon distances, all starting and finishing with a focus on seaside bliss and groovy beats.

This out-and-back course predominantly utilizes the beach path, offering ocean views with the unique challenge of sharing the path with other users. Participants are reminded to stay to the right side of the path to ensure a smooth flow for all. With a generous course closure time of 3 hours and 20 minutes for the longer distances, the event is designed to be accessible, though early starters are not eligible for awards.

The atmosphere is geared towards high energy, with music and sunny smiles promised throughout the event. While the series is relatively new, with its most recent edition in 2025, it aims to create a festive environment for runners of all levels looking to enjoy a run by the Pacific.
