The half marathon course is a certified, fast-flat loop that hugs the coastline, offering scenic views of Long Island Sound. With minimal elevation change, it's a prime candidate for setting personal bests. The energy is palpable, with bands and cheer groups lining the route, creating a lively atmosphere that carries runners toward the finish.
Post-race, the celebration moves to Jennings Beach for a true party-finish. Participants can enjoy live music, a variety of food and beverages, and browse vendor offerings. The event also includes a 5K, a 16.2-mile challenge, and a unique non-alcoholic beer mile, ensuring a memorable experience for all.

The Fairfield Road Races are June 6 & June 7, 2026. Amenities include: Certified courses with clocks at every mile. 11 water stations on half marathon course and 2 on 5k course. Extensive medical personnel both along the course and at the beach. Technical running shirts to all participants! Post-Race beach party with live music, a great assortment of food and beverages, vendors, awards ceremony and much more! Bands and cheer groups along half marathon & 5K courses. Commemorative half marathon finisher medal. Option to have race packet mailed to you prior to event if registered by May 29th (additional $15). Early packet pick-up! Fairfield University Bookstore · In Fairfield Center | 1499 Post Rd, Fairfield CT Friday, June 5: 12 pm-6 pm (ALL RACES)Saturday, June 6: 10:30 am-4:30 pm (Half Marathon ONLY) Lucas Challenge: Half Marathon AND 5K! Can you run 16.2 miles in 24 hours? Register for the Lucas Challenge! Athletic Brewing Beer Mile! Complete four laps, at the beginning of each lap, consume one non-alcoholic Athletic Brewing Beer, resulting in a total of four beers consumed throughout the race. Due to safety concerns, no wheelchairs are allowed on the half marathon course. We look forward to seeing you at Jennings Beach!
