Join us for the 1st Annual Newtown Community Running Event, a fun and inspiring day for runners, walkers, families, and supporters from across the community—and home to Newtown’s first-ever half marathon. Whether you’re chasing a personal best, taking on the historic half marathon, enjoying a scenic walk, or simply coming out to support a great local event, this race is for everyone. With multiple race distances, a welcoming atmosphere, and plenty of community spirit, it’s the perfect way to get active together. Net proceeds from the event will benefit Newtown Ambulance in honor of Greg Ritzinger, recognizing his service and dedication to the community. Come run, walk, cheer, and be part of something special as we kick off what is sure to become a beloved annual tradition. (Sorry-No dogs allowed) **Must register by July 15th to be guaranteed shirt in your choice of size and cut. Please choose from unisex and women’s cut for moisture wicking performance shirt. Finisher medals for all participants and we have recently partnered with TOGA Race Coach to offer a FREE 16-week subscription to help you train for the race-no matter which race you are participating in!
