Tryptophan Half/10K/5K

Join us on Thanksgiving Day.  Come out and burn some pre-turkey calories while working up an appetite for your Thanksgiving Day feast by running or walking the 16th annual Tryptophan Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K. WOW, 16 years is an amazing tradition!  We are THANKFUL to all of YOU for coming out year after year.  It is great to see family and friends come together from all over to create special memories on race day!  So be THAT FAMILY on turkey day and run a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon run/walk. Runners/Walkers will have the option to participate IN-PERSON or VIRTUALLY.  Race packets for virtual participants will be mailed out by USPS.  In-Person race packet pickup will be offered on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Starbucks 435 Peachtree Parkway 4-7pm and race day morning in Front of Rosati's starting at 6:30 am.   EVENT DETAILS: RACE DAY: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026 LOCATION: In front of Rosati's Pizza and Sports Pub RACE START TIMES: 13.1 - 7:30am 10K - 7:45am 5K - 8:00am Virtual - whenever, wherever Fun Run 1K - 9:00am COST: Half - $45 until 9/1 @ 11:59pm           $55.00 until 10/10 @11:59pm          $60.00 until 10/27 @ 11:59pm          $65.00 until 11/17 @ 11:59pm          $70.00 until 11/25 and Race Day 10K - $30.00 until 9/1 @ 11:59pm          $35.00 until 10/10 @ 11:59pm          $50.00 until 10/27 @ 11:59pm          $55.00 until 11/25 and Race Day 5K -   $25.00 until 9/1 @ 11:59pm          $30.00 until 10/10 @ 11:59pm          $35.00 until 10/27 @ 11:59pm          $40.00 until 11/17 @ 11:59pm          $45.00 until 11/25 and Race Day Virtual - $40.00 Fun Run - $20.00 COURSE: 5K Course:  Starts and finishes in front of Rosati's Pizza and Sports Pub, 415 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, Ga.  Mostly flat course with lots of room to run.   10K Course:  Continues from the 5K going south on Peachtree Parkway and U-Turning before Sharon Rd. returning back to the finish. Half:  Continues from the 10K U-Turn down past the Brookwood Target and returning to the finish line. PACKET PICK UP/RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Packet Pick-up - Wednesday, November 25, 2026 - 4:00pm to 7:00pm Starbucks at 435 Peachtree Pkwy, Cumming, GA 30041 (across from The Collection)  Race Day Packet Pick-up/Registration - Parking lot in front of Rosati's starting at 6:30am. PARKING:  The Tryptophan 2026 race course utilizes a portion of the Brannon Crossing parking lot.  For runner safety we ask that you park across the street at The Collection of Forsyth.  If you park in Brannon Crossing you may get stuck until the race is over.  Races start on time so be sure to allow plenty of time to park, pick up your packets, and get to the start!! Virtual and In-Person participants will receive a custom race bib, finishers medal and long-sleeve tee. AWARDS: Overall Male/Female Masters Male/Female Age Groups 3 Deep Male/Female: 10 and Under to 75+ in five year increments
