This summer trail race is the perfect mix of beginner-friendly and PR-worthy, with smooth, well-marked singletrack and generous cutoffs that make it accessible for both new and experienced trail runners. Whether you’re ready for your first ultra marathon, looking to nail a faster half marathon, or want to test yourself on the 5 mile trail race, STFU delivers a one-of-a-kind Michigan trail running experience. The course features about 90% well-groomed trails with minimal technical terrain, making it an ideal choice for anyone stepping up to longer trail distances. With 21:43/mile cutoffs for the 50K and 15:18/mile cutoffs for the 50 Mile, you’ll have plenty of time to finish strong. Aid stations are well-stocked with water, electrolytes, gels, and real food options, so you can run without a crew and still be fully supported. After the finish line, the fun doesn’t stop. Stick around for a post-race cookout and BBQ featuring burgers, hot dogs, sides, and plenty of trail camaraderie.
