The Experience

The Cross Cut 20K unfolds at the scenic Bridger Bowl Ski Area, inviting runners into the heart of Montana's Bridger Mountains. This is a true trail race, demanding focus and agility on technical single-track paths interspersed with sections of tall grass.

The course is designed for runners seeking a challenge, with a 4-hour cutoff time indicating it's geared towards those comfortable with trail running rather than walking. Three aid stations will be available, but participants are reminded this is a cupless event, emphasizing a Leave No Trace ethos to preserve the pristine mountain environment.

Race day kicks off at 9:00 AM, with packet pickup available both the day before and on race morning at the Jim Bridger Lodge. Runners can expect a custom race shirt, a catered lunch, and a chance at awards and raffle prizes, all set against the stunning backdrop of Bozeman.
