New Jersey Summer Half, 10k, 5k @ Battlefield

The New Jersey Summer Half, 10K, and 5K take place at the Monmouth Battlefield State Park, a National Historic Landmark. This race offers a chance to run through history, on a course that has become a runner's right of passage.

The half marathon features a four-loop, 3.27-mile course, designed to be fast and flat with approximately zero feet of elevation gain. Runners will experience a largely shaded, tree-lined path that weaves through wooded areas and onto a rails-to-trails section. The course is well-marked with support stations every mile, and the fan-friendly layout allows spectators to catch multiple views of the runners.

As a mid-August event, typical race-day temperatures range from the mid-60s to low 80s with high humidity, presenting a unique challenge. The event includes professional chip timing, live video streaming, online tracking, and finish line photos and video. Participants receive a T-shirt, and the race is noted for its strong organization and community event feel.
