2026 Palmetto Peach Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K

The Palmetto Peach Half Marathon offers a unique out-and-back course that spans two states, beginning in North Augusta, South Carolina, and venturing into Georgia before returning. Runners start at the state-of-the-art SRP Park and quickly find themselves on the peaceful North Augusta Greeneway, surrounded by the sounds of nature. The course winds through a charming downtown area before crossing the Savannah River into Augusta, Georgia, the hometown of James Brown. After a taste of Georgia, runners head back into South Carolina, passing through areas with Southern charm and Charleston-inspired architecture, ultimately finishing back at SRP Park.

This race, first run in 2018 and now in its 8th edition, typically sees around 477 finishers, with about 30% of participants returning in subsequent years. Runners travel from approximately 20 states, drawn by the unique two-state experience and the promise of a fast, certified course. The event is known for its growing field size and offers a festive atmosphere with post-race activities to celebrate a "home run" finish.
