The Sun Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. This race purpose is to get runners out of the cold and into the warmth of Southern Utah in the St. George/Santa Clara Area. Though the courses are primarily downhill over the distance there are some rollers and a few climbs. The views during this race are great with huge red rock mountains all around to views of Gunlock Reservoir during the Marathon and a nice river along the Full and Half Marathons.
