The Experience

The Triple Trail Challenge in Park City, Utah, presents a trio of trail races designed to test runners amidst the Wasatch Mountains. The series includes the Round Valley Rambler, a half marathon on buff single and double track at 6,500-7,100 feet, featuring rolling terrain with steady climbs and fast descents. The Jupiter Peak 25K is a challenging loop from Park City Mountain Resort, ascending to 10,000 feet with an "inverted V" profile. Finally, the Mid Mountain 50K follows the iconic Mid Mountain Trail for nearly 20 miles before a descent through the Utah Olympic Park trail system.

Each event is capped at 400 participants, promising an intimate yet adventurous experience. Runners can opt for individual races or the ultimate summer challenge of completing all three, earning "mountain bragging rights." The series is known for its stunning high-desert terrain and the crisp mountain air, with typical race-day temperatures ranging from a cool 50°F to a pleasant 73°F.

Race-provided description

Mid Mountain 50K The race course begins with a loop at Deer Valley, where it then follows the iconic Mid Mountain Trail for nearly 20 miles, to its terminus.  There is one last uphill push before a long, winding descent down through the Utah Olympic Park trail system. Jupiter Peak 25K This is a Park City favorite with an elevation profile that resembles an inverted “V” (for vertical!) A 16-mile loop from Park City Mountain Resort (7,000′) to the top of Jupiter Peak (10,000′) and back down. Round Valley Rambler 100% of the course takes place on prime, buff single and double track in Round Valley which sits at an altitude between 6,500’ and 7100′. While athletes will find the trails foot-friendly, the rolling, high-desert terrain presents a few long and steady climbs followed by fast downhills. The 7K offers an equally adventurous race for those not quite ready to take on the half. Triple Trail Challenge The ultimate summer challenge! Complete all three TTC events – Round Valley Rambler Half Marathon, Jupiter Peak 25K & Mid Mountain 50K and earn mountain bragging rights. For the race series, we offer a Friends & Family 4+ pack pricing of $20 saving per person when you sign up together. ALL RACES ARE IN PERSON & CAPPED AT 400 PEOPLE.  EVENTS ARE LIKELY TO SELL OUT.
