Sun City Barry James Memorial 5K and Half Marathon

The Sun City Barry James Memorial 5K and Half Marathon are put on every year by the Hard Core Running Club of Central Washington. They take place on the second Sunday of October at Volution Fitness, this year at a new location on University Parkway in Terrace Heights, Washington, just east of Yakima. The 5K and half marathon both start and end at Volution. There will be aid stations at miles 3.5, 7, and 10. The half marathon is a favorite race of many participants with rolling hills alongside orchards.

Race fee is $15 for Hard Core Runner Members, $20 for non-members, and youth under age 12 are free.  Costs go up to $22 on October 1st. Day of race entries will be $25.
