The Experience

The Lincoln Marathon, a USATF-sanctioned event organized by the Maine Endurance Sports Alliance, presents a compelling opportunity for runners seeking a fast, flat course. This race, now in its second edition, aims to foster community health and support local economies through endurance sports.

Runners will find the course, which heads south down Route 2 towards Enfield, to be exceptionally flat and straight, ideal for those aiming for personal bests. The race boasts a generous no-time-limit policy, welcoming participants of all abilities to achieve their goals.

With a median field size of around 50 finishers and a repeat-runner rate of approximately 3%, the Lincoln Marathon offers an intimate, community-focused atmosphere. The event provides a T-shirt and finisher's medal, with a vendor area at the finish line and ample nearby parking, making it a potential destination for families.
