The Experience

The Run for the Glasses, held in Drums, PA, is more than just a race; it's a community event supporting Community Services for Sight. Runners navigate the scenic Honey Hole Road in an out-and-back format, starting and finishing at the Honey Hole Winery.

This event, part of the Valley Running Club Festival of Races, has seen a growing field since its inception. While the repeat-runner loyalty is modest at around 9%, the race offers a chance to contribute to a vital cause while enjoying a pleasant run. The course is designed to be fast, with minimal elevation change, making it a potential PR course for many.

Participants can choose from a half marathon, 10K, or 5K, with a dog jog also available. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by May 17th, and packet pickup is conveniently available on Thursday, Friday, and race day morning. Awards are given for overall winners and age group placements, ensuring a rewarding experience for many.
