The Experience
Central Pennsylvania's ridges and valleys set the stage for the Lost Turkey Trail Races, a challenging event that showcases the region's best terrain. Runners navigate gnarly single track, quad-busting descents, and heart-breaking climbs on this point-to-point course.
The half-marathon is a loop, distinct from the grueling 50k. With typical race-day temperatures ranging from 64–86°F, participants can expect a demanding but rewarding experience. The event is organized by RunHikePlay, a not-for-profit, volunteer-run group, with all net proceeds benefiting local non-profits like Friends of Shawnee and Blue Knob State Park.
